Happy Mother’s Day to all Invictus Games Orlando 2016 Competitors
President George W. Bush, Honorary Chairman of the Invictus Games Orlando 2016, made a special visit this afternoon to the Track and Field preliminaries. In addition to watching the intense competition in the stands, the President also spent his time welcoming families to the Invictus Games and wished spectating mothers a very special Mother’s Day. One special moment was U.S. competitor Angelo Anderson dashing to finish the 400 meter race while the President was watching alongside Anderson’s mother. His mother was overcome with emotion, running to the track fence to embrace her son after his big win. Attached are a few photographs of the President with competitors’ moms.
