Official Countdown to Invictus Games 2016 as Prince Harry Welcomed U.S. Team Captain to Buckingham Palace for Ceremonial Hand-off of the Invictus Flag
Today marked the official countdown to the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 as Prince Harry welcomed U.S. Team Captain Will Reynolds to Buckingham Palace for the ceremonial hand-off of the Invictus flag. The flag will now begin its cross-continental tour that will include multiple stops in the United States.
“I saw our competition from the UK today at Buckingham Palace, and that only makes the U.S. team more focused on our last month of training as we head to Orlando,” said U.S. Team Captain, Will Reynolds. “We are excited to compete in front of our families, friends and fans, to win medals and to bring honor to our country, and we ask everyone to come cheer on the U.S. Team.”
US Team Captain Will Reynolds arrived in a specially commissioned Jaguar F-Pace to receive the Invictus Games Flag and bring it back to America. We can’t wait to see all of our competitors from around the world next month in Orlando!
