Wheelchair Rugby Semi Finals
Wheelchair rugby is a team sport for competitors with a disability. It is practiced in over twenty-five countries around the world and is a summer Paralympic sport. Developed in Winnipeg, Canada in 1976, the sport’s original name was murderball.

On May 6th, just two days before the start of the Invictus Games Orlando 2016, 12 teams competed during the Wheelchair Rugby Preliminaries with hopes of taking the gold. Today, we watched the final four take the floor to show hundreds their Invictus spirit. After several intense rugby matches, the US defeated Australia (36-15) and Denmark defeated the UK (31-26). Australia and the UK will compete for bronze on May 11 at 7:30 PM and US and Denmark the will compete in the finals at 9:10 PM. Watch Live on ESPN3.
