“Prepare to be inspired”, highlights journalist Andrea Park with PEOPLE Magazine. PEOPLE featured the new Team USA video noting “wounded warriors show off their strength and tenacity as they compete in various athletic events”.
The video features Captain William Reynolds “who lost his left leg above the knee after an improvised explosive device detonated in Iraq”. Notably, Captain Reynolds earned four medals at Invictus Games London 2014. He will be competing in the Track & Field and Cycling events at Invictus Games Orlando 2016.
In reference to Prince Harry’s hands-on involvement in the Games, Captain Reynolds relates – “I would say every athlete, all 400 plus, had at least one personal interaction with him. He was just that present and that accessible. He was not only a champion for the Games, but he was really rolling up his sleeves and involved in the planning and execution of it.”
