Ticket Request Line Opens for the Invictus Games Orlando 2016

On February 4, disZine, “a magazine dedicated to Disney fans” reported “the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 is less than 100 days away and fans can now make requests for tickets.”

“The games will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on May 8-12. The games bring together more than 500 competitors from 15 countries to compete in 10 sports including archery, cycling, indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and more.”

The article references Disney Sport News which highlights “the second Invictus Games, (is) the only international adaptive sporting event for injured active duty and veteran service members”.

The word Invictus means “unconquered.” It embodies the fighting spirit of the wounded service personnel who are on the journey to recovery. “Prince Harry launched the Invictus Games for injured veterans in 2014. The tournament brings together military service members from around the globe to compete in Paralympic-style events”, noted Today News.
