“British automaker Jaguar Land Rover’s work with the armed forces has not gone unnoticed, as the brand received the gold award from Defense Secretary Michael Fallon on Jan. 14”, reported the Luxury Times in a January 15, 2016 article.
As a continued expression of Jaguar Land Rover’s commitment, the article notes the company “has also pledged its support of the second Invictus Games, being held in Florida from May 8 to 12. This year’s event, also presented by the automaker, will draw more than 500 competitors from 15 countries.”
The Invictus Games Orlando 2016 will shine a light on the holistic recovery and rehabilitation that occurs through sport for the wounded, ill, and injured Service men and women who participate in them. Though only 500, these men and women represent the tens of thousands of Service members around the globe who face the daily challenges from their wounds, illnesses, and injuries, both visible and invisible.
