On December 3, 2015, Invictus Games 2016 competitors demonstrated sitting volleyball, an adaptive sport, at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.
At 2:30 p.m. EST, “President George W. Bush and Ken Fisher, Chairman and CEO of the Invictus Games 2016”, “watched a demonstration of sitting volleyball before meeting with wounded warrior and veteran competitors who are training in hopes of representing their countries at the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 presented by Jaguar Land Rover” (Source: The George W. President George W. Bush and Ken Fisher, Chairman and CEO of Invictus Games 2016, the world’s largest military adaptive sports competition sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover, announced the organizations will co-chair a policy symposium in Orlando in May 2016. President Bush will also serve as honorary chair for the 2016 Invictus Games.
