The Invictus Games was ranked as the top 3 reason to visit Walt Disney World® Resort in 2016.
Journalist Kayla Becker highlights – “Prince Harry is bringing his Invictus Games to Walt Disney World Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in 2016. The event hosts wounded servicemen and women from around the world, as they compete in a variety of sports events. Walt Disney World’s Invictus Games will be the first time the event takes place in the United States. Athletes from up to 15 nations will compete in 10 sports, including archery, cycling, indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, triathlon, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis. The event will take place at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports from May 8 though 12 next year.”
